St. Patrick's Day

I miss teaching 3rd and 4th graders when St. Patrick's Day comes around.  One fun thing I did was use temper paint on the bottom of a toddler's tennis shoe and stamp the overturned desks, walls and chalkboard.  Then I would leave a message on the chalkboard written backwards from the rowdy leprechauns. The students would at first accuse me of playing the trick, but when they saw the paint on the walls and chalkboard, they would say, "Oh no the teacher would never do that."
