Is my face red?
For dinner tonight I picked up a Superior salad. I was waiting for the waiter to bring my order when a young woman walked by in a small man's shirt. Now I grew-up in the 60s & 70s so short skirts are not new to me, but this was just a shirt and if she had been wearing underwear all would have known the color. So I obviously watched her go by and when I looked up a very young male waiter was watching me watching her. He had the biggest grin in the world and said, "You are my new best friend. Give me 5." Well, I high fived him and said, "You caught me. Just a normal human reaction." And I followed that with another normal human reaction a very red face.

Wish I had been there to see your face, but then again glad I wasn't...I would have probably been caught as well, the difference is something CRAZY would have come out of my mouth like, "I wonder if that shirt comes in my size?" ha...
ReplyDeleteOnce at the nursery in Dallas, a woman came in with her little son. They both had on BIG WHITE T-shirts which hung to the knee. She bought a flat of bedding plants and checked out. The cashier and I just looked at each other. Our very shy, quiet, reserved 18 yr old carryout guy came back inside after accompanying her to her car and said THAT LADY DIDN'T HAVE ANY CLOTHES ON! He was very correct.
